Recno Delete Data Instructions

Recno is currently local-first. This means project records are stored on the device unless you export, share, save, or back them up.

Delete Project Records

Use project delete or archive controls in the app to remove job records from active use. Deleting a project removes its app records and related Sifter queue items from the local database.

Delete Exported Files

Reports and backups that were saved or shared outside Recno may also exist in Files, Photos, email, messages, cloud drives, client systems, or other apps. Delete those copies from each place separately.

Delete iCloud Backups

On iPhone, automatic backups go to Recno's private iCloud container. That container is not browsable in the Files app, so the backups cannot be deleted from iCloud Drive.

Remove them in iOS Settings: tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Account Storage (Manage Storage on older iOS versions), then SitesLog, then Delete Data. The container is still listed under the app's former name, SitesLog.

Deleting the container removes every Recno backup at once and cannot be undone. Restore or export a backup first if you may need the records later.

Remove App Data

Uninstalling Recno removes local app data from the device according to operating system behavior. Export a backup first if you may need the records later. Uninstalling does not delete backups already in iCloud — delete those separately as described above.

Future Cloud Accounts

If Recno adds cloud sync, team accounts, or server-side subscriptions later, the app must provide an account deletion path and explain what is deleted, retained, or legally required to keep.
