Data Recovery Limitation
Recno is local-first. Support cannot recover data that was deleted from the device and not backed up.
iCloud Backup Privacy
On iPhone, automatic backups are stored in Recno's private iCloud container. Recno does not add its own encryption to them, so they rely on Apple's iCloud encryption.
For end-to-end encryption, turn on Advanced Data Protection in iOS Settings: tap your name, then iCloud, then Advanced Data Protection. With it on, only your own devices can read your iCloud contents, including Recno backups.
The container is not browsable in the Files app, so backups cannot be deleted from iCloud Drive. See the Delete Data page for how to remove them.
